New X6100 Firmware with Improved RX

Xiegu keeps supporting their older models, including the X6100 HF/50MHz SDR transceiver, with firmware updates to improve the user experience. Do you own a X6100? This firmware update for the X6100 feature many improvements, the most prominent and update of the gain allocation in the baseband section for improved receiver performance.

  1. The gain allocation in the baseband section adjusted to improve the received signal to noise ratio, to reduce broadcast crosstalk, and o minimize birdies.
  2. Adjusted the spectrum/waterfall automatic level tracking mode to improve the signal contrast when dealing with strong signals, easier to distinguish between signal and noise.
  3. Added audio spectrum/oscilloscope switch, when turned off the spectrum/waterfall will be use the full svreen.
  4. Fixed a bug where MFK tags could not be saved.
  5. Optimized the NR, noise Reduction algorithm.
  6. Adjusted the CI-V data format.
  7. Adjusted the operation logic of the WLAN settings interface.
  8. Adjusted the operation logic of BLUETOOTH setting interface.
  9. Color scheme updated for better visibility in sunlight.

Note: v1.1.8-240904002 firmware update was withdrawn on request by Xiegu. If you have updated your X6100 and experience TX failure issues, this update will resolve the issue. Make sure you only use Firmware Update v1.1.9 (2024-09-15) when updating your X6100.
